During the interview, which took the form of a discussion with Valeria Arag\u00f3n, vice-president of the Castilla-La Mancha AI Association, Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel analysed the ethical and social dilemmas posed by emerging technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking the incidents involving robotaxis in San Francisco as a starting point, he warned of the risks of introducing autonomous vehicles into public spaces without careful consideration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">He also expressed concern at the rise in China of so-called <em>\"dead bots\"<\/em> (digital replicas of deceased people), warning of the legal vacuum surrounding this practice and the danger of commodifying human grief through AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Furthermore, the debate addressed the impact of algorithmic discrimination and bias in processes such as recruitment.
