AI and Disinformation at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Social Research

On 29 April, our colleague Andrés Montoro took part in a round-table discussion on Artificial Intelligence and Disinformation alongside Tomás Fernández, director of the Spanish Observatory on Racism and Xenophobia (OBERAXE), and Professor Pablo Oñate, Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Valencia. The event took place as part of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Social Research organised by the I-COMMUNITAS institute at the Public University of Navarre.

During his speech, Andrés outlined the role of Artificial Intelligence in the fight against disinformation, advocating for models that are not only accurate but also robust and interpretable – and therefore reliable.
