There can be no AI governance without good data governance

Our colleague Mario Piattini has published the article There can be no AI governance without good data governance [in Spanish] on Cyberlideria MGZN, which highlights that the real obstacle to AI lies in data – its poor quality, management and governance – leading to between 60% and 85% of Artificial Intelligence projects failing.

Therefore, as the article points out, it is essential to start with a sound data governance in order to achieve proper AI governance (the European AI Regulation itself reflects this, particularly in Article 10), as AI governance can be considered a superset of data governance.
